The St. Joseph-St. Lawrence Parish officially commissioned and received approval for a parish Knights of Columbus Council on 1 December 2022. The council was founded by 31 original charter members with the vision of living a Knight’s example in our parish and our community.
The Father George Bertels Council. The council selected Father George Bertels as the council’s patron for having served twice as pastor in our combined parish, was a lifelong active Knight, and for exemplifying the Knights calling to charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.
