The Religious Education program assists parents in providing for their child's religious instruction and formation. Active parent involvement and regular participation by young people are crucial to the success of the program. Sacramental preparation programs require the participation of young people in regular religious formation; this includes preparation for the reception of the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation. All students in Grades K through 8 who are not enrolled in a Catholic school should be enrolled in Religious Ed classes at their own parish.

CCD News 2025! CCD Registration is officially open!  Registration will be available after mass on Aug, 23rd, 24th, and 30th. CCD 2025 STARTS SOON!  Middle School CCD (Grades 6–8) begins Sunday, Sept. 28 after the 9am Mass until 11am at St. Joseph of the Valley (Bertels Hall). Grades K–5 will begin Wednesday, Oct. 1 after school, ending at 5pm, also at Bertels Hall. We’re excited to share the faith with your children—but remember, faith formation doesn’t only happen in the classroom. Parents, you are your child’s first and most important teacher. What they see at home—your prayers, conversations, and example—shapes their hearts.
